We were visiting family and they had brought us here for dinner. We had thoroughly enjoyed trying lobster rolls while in Boston but I would say this place was the best we've tried. We all got samplers of the various flavors and enjoyed every single one! It was hard to choose a favorite so going with the sampler was a good way to try them all!

Heard nothing but great things about this place, and it did not disappoint. We got a lobster roll, lobster bisque, a lobster grilled cheese, and fries. It was my favorite seafood I've had in a long time, very glad I stopped in.

The restaurant had a really cool vibe and the service was good. We ordered two 2-oz lobster rolls and the high fries with curried ketchup. Both were very good. However, the portion sizes are just not worth the price.

If you find yourself in Portland, Maine, you should definitely come here! The atmosphere of this place is so welcoming and upbeat. We felt very comfortable with the people working here and the food came fairly on time. We ordered oysters, lobster bisque, lobster taco, and the lobster roll. Oysters were very fresh and good. The bisque was delicious and very rich in flavor. While I liked the lobster taco, I found it messy to eat because the crust was complete cheese and broke apart easily. I just wasn't a huge fan of the cheese crust's flavor and I wouldn't get it again if I come back. Anyhow, it was still good.

I came to highroller years ago when they first opened in Portland and have been craving it ever sense. When my girlfriend and I were getting some last minute Christmas shopping done in Portland I figured this would be the perfect time to stop in and fulfill that craving. A lot of improvements have been made but I was happy to see it was the same old recipes that brought me back in the first place! The food was amazing the service is great and quick, the ambiance is so fun and it was nicely done up for Christmas. Needless to if you are in the area and love lobster as much as I do I highly suggest stopping in as you won't be disappointed!

I came for a lobsta roll and succeeded. Messed around and got a cheese crusted lobsta taco too. And I was indeed satisfied, but it all cost me dang near a days worth of pay to have that meal. For the layout and tone of Highroller, you wouldn't think you would be paying $30 to $50 for grub, but it happens very easily. I had a pretty standard lobster roll. Butter sauce on a toasted brioche roll. I was immediately sold on the first bite by the brioche roll alone. Then that next bite with the lobster meat set it off! You gotta try one. The cheese shell lobster taco was good, but I think Highroller's best way to serve the lobster is with the brioche roll. The cheesy flavor of the shell doesn't go as well as bread does. But if carbs and bread in general strike fear in your appetite, the cheese shell is a good substitute. I give Highroller 4 Lobster Claws!!!

If you come to Portland, Maine you gotta try the lobster and this place really does it well. If the locals recommended it, then we definitely had to make a stop. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was great, and the food was excellent. I tried the lobster melt with some fries and a cold local brew. There was plenty of tasty lobster meat and the bread was grilled to perfection. I can't wait for the next time we head North East for another visit.

When in Maine, you have to get a lobster roll. This place came highly recommended and was closest to our hotel. Based on what I read, I got the regular lobster roll with the mango habanero sauce. I was initially worried that it was going to be too spicy, but the sweetness from the mango kept it balanced and it was so good. The high fries had the right balance between crispy and fluffy, and the charred pineapple sauce and garlic mayo were fantastic. Be warned - the menu says that the junior roll is half the size of the regular role, but it looks way smaller than that. Super casual spot off of the main roads! We all loved that you can order via your phone after you sit down (very efficient) and the server only comes to bring your food.

Amazing food! We ordered the Lobster Roll Flight and Lobster Chowder. We highly recommend getting the Lobster Ghee and Jalapeno Butter for the sauces. The service was very quick bc you order and pay online then they would deliver the food to your table. The ambiance was very laid-back and is a very good casual place to catch up with friends.
